Welcome to this Trauma Informed Parenting ("Course"). By purchasing, accessing, or using this Course, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About the Course

This Course is provided by Craig Oolup—Psychotherapy ("we," "our," or "us").

The Course is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. It is designed to provide parents and caregivers with practical knowledge and strategies to support parenting.

2. Not Psychotherapy or Medical Advice

This Course does not provide psychotherapy, psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, or any other regulated healthcare service.

Purchasing or participating in the Course does not create a therapist-client relationship between you and us.

The information presented is general in nature and may not be appropriate for your circumstances.  You are responsible for how you use the information provided.

If you or your child requires individualized support, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

If you believe that you or another person is experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, contact your local emergency services or the appropriate crisis service immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or access the Course.

By using the Course, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. Account Security and Access

When you purchase the course through Thinkific, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal use.

You agree not to:

  • Share your login credentials 
  • Distribute or reproduce course materials 
  • Use the course for commercial or training purposes without permission 

 

5. Personal Use Licence

When you purchase the Course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Course for your own personal educational use.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not:

  • copy or reproduce Course materials;
  • distribute Course materials;
  • record, download, or upload videos for redistribution;
  • share your account with another person;
  • sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any Course content.

6. Agency Purchases

If access is purchased by an organization, agency, employer, or institution, use of the Course is limited to the number of licensed users purchased.

Organizations may not duplicate, distribute, or make Course content available beyond the licensed users.

7. Intellectual Property

All videos, worksheets, presentations, written materials, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other Course content remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

No ownership rights are transferred to users and you may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any materials without written permission.

8. No Guarantee of Results

Every family is different.

Although the Course is designed to provide practical parenting strategies, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome or improvement.

Your results depend on numerous factors beyond our control, and outside the scope of this course

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Course.

Our total liability arising from your purchase or use of the Course shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Course.

Craig - Psychotherapy is not liable for:

  • Any decisions or actions you take based on the course 
  • Any outcomes related to parenting, relationships, or mental health 
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the course 

Use of this course is at your own discretion and risk.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the Course for unlawful purposes;
  • interfere with the operation of the Course platform;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to Course materials or accounts;
  • infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

11. Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that:

  • You have not completed a substantial portion of the course

12. Changes to the Course

We may update, improve, or modify Course content from time to time.

We reserve the right to discontinue or replace portions of the Course where reasonably necessary.

13. Privacy

Your personal information will be collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase unless otherwise required by law.
